Olmer, a success Story

Olmer – an acronym for Officina Lavorazioni Meccaniche E Ricambi - was founded in 1981 on the initiative of Enrico Streparava. The company, located in the province of Brescia in the suggestive setting of Franciacorta, began its activity with the production of third hydraulic points.
Olmer's growth intertwined with the development of the Italian tractor industry and was accelerated by the entry of manufacturers such as FIAT onto the market. In 1983 Olmer began working as a Tier 1 supplier for FiatAgri. In the same period the type of material varied from steel to cast iron and the production was extended to hydraulic distributors, carrier planetary, forks and boxes.

Over the years the company acquired new customers in the Agriculture, Railway, Industrial and Automotive sectors, with a significant increase in production. In 2008 and 2021 the volumes requested by the market lead Olmer to invest in the expansion of its factories to a current total area of 8,500 sq m.

The company’s success is closely related both to the entrepreneurial foresight of its founder and his sons, and to the third generation's passion for innovative production processes.
